I only know that type of father from books and movies (because mine's so laid-back it borders on ignorance), so I can't really relate but as far as poems go this one's really funny and kind of sweet.

Nothing to criticise, except for some minor mistakes (don't read the following if you don't care about that stuff):
I think line 11 is missing an "I" and in line 41 it's a "you".
Line 43 starts with "Will" instead of "Well" and line 53 with "Then" instead of "The".
Sorry for being a grammar nazi, and maybe I just embarrassed myself by not realising that these weren't mistakes but stylistic devices but with poems I can never seem to suppress my inner stickler.
