Reviews for Walking Through Life

This makes me happy on so many levels. My husband is 6 years older than me, and we were friends for years before we got together. We always knew we loved eachother, but the age thing was always in the way for him. New favorite story :D

Oh my gosh, this made me cry. I loved how she was opened about her love. She was determined for him to see they could work out and I really admire that. I loved how they got their happy ending with a baby.

Aw! That was one heck of a ride for Lauren. Question: Are they finally going to have a kid in which they are blood rated to? If that's so hurray for them and it being a miracle for Erik. Anyways. . .LOVE THIS!

Really an amazing story. I simply loved it!

First of all,
I loved when he promised to marry her,
My heart broke when he rejected her,
I went in shock when he got married,
I was quite glad when he broke up with his wife,
My throat dried when she confessed again and he held her hand,
And I couldn't help but keep smiling when they married.

The epilogue was cool too!
Glad to know they WOULD a child of their own! :D

I'm having a love/hate feeling with regards to how long it took for them together. One on hand I can understand Erik's reasoning on why he said no to Lauren, but I really hoped that he would wait for her instead of getting married to some other girl. Oh and by the way, Lauren is extremely strong for that! I wouldn't have been able to do that; watch the man I love get married to someone else.

But really, this was a sweet story and I loved them both in whatever age they were at :D

I like this light-tone in the story :D Good thing you didn't kill off Fran, that would have been a tad dramatic :

Loved your story! It was really sweet! It was realistic too! Would have loved to have seen the scene where he finally gives in and returns her feelings and goes for it before it skips to the wedding. So glad you put the email addresses in afterwards!

one of my fave one-shot here.

it was heartfelt with enough dashes of other elements to spice everything up.

ah, the miracle of fluff.

love the story to bits.

kudos

Oh gawsh

This story's so cute! :3

I love how you wrote and portrayed Erik and Lauren. You can really see the flashes of them as they're growing up and "walking through life". :D

As soon as it was revealed that Erik couldn't have kids, I knew that he'd have kids with Lauren. I just knew. But, even if it was a bit predictable, I totally loved it. This is such a sweet story. I love the way the story progresses, and especially Marcie's email at the end which reveals that Erik and Lauren are going to have their own kid. It just wouldn't have had the same effect if Lauren was just happily pregnant. I'm usually not a fan of these kind of stories (i.e. stories with snapshots of different points in the characters' lives), but this is really well done.

I enjoyed this, but I feel as if you could have done a better job at prolonging the reaction with Erick.

Still I admire your talent

A very well-written story. Your timestamps reminded me of "The Time Traveller's Wife," but they contributed to the story well.

Allowing her to become pregnant at the end was a nice bonus.

Using a letter from a friend to cap off the story was an effective tool, though it was slightly confusing at first.

I hope that you will write more.
Disney Is Hardcore 5/1/11 . chapter 1
That was so sweet my favourite part was when he told her she wasn't allowed to think about boys until she was 16 and not to do anything until she was 18. That was so protective it was sweet :)
