Ubiquitous Differences 1/16/11 . chapter 1This is a really interesting poem, and the idea behind it could make a great short story or novel. Out of curiosity, what inspired this? I really like the juxtaposition of living and death- lines such as "lived her death" are really interesting because of the contrast within them. The line "the dead girl woke up from her dream" is also really great. You should definitely continue this, whether in a poem or story, because there's a great plot here and I'm curious to see what happens. However, the poem also stands really well on its own, and the ambiguity but hopefulness of the ending is really interesting. Great job! |
