simpleplan13 2/5/11 . chapter 1At the end I felt like it should be "Love, Us" 'cause that's how you would sign a card. Also, that didn't seem like a condolence which threw me off considering the beginning of the piece... to me a condolence is to people who are still alive and the card on those flowers seemed to be addressed to the person who died. I also didn't get the whole euphoric thing.. why would they be euphoric? I did like the format here. I especially liked the way you did the whole daughter and father thing. That was an interesting way to phrase it that worked really well. I also liked the cookie-cutter part. That was a really great word to describe condolences. -Review Marathon this weekend! Guy1122 2/3/11 . chapter 1This is really sad, definitely not where I thought this poem was going. I love the "cookie-cutter" line. This is really beautiful. Also, if this is true, I am really sorry about your loss. Keep writing, you have a knack for it. - Guy |
