Reviews for Ponderous Parasol
too.much.of.water 7/2/11 . chapter 1
Oh, this is so lovely I'm tempted to eat it up. It's utterly nonsensical and oddly Roald Dahl-esque but that could just be me. My god yes, as a child I often wondered if I hurt my bed when I slept in it or my books when I folded them but never did I attempt to understand the woe of umbrella's. You've just made my childhood self very happy :)

I like this a lot.

It's a really cute concept, one that presents an individual view on something so common.

It kind of reminds me of a Shel Silverstien poem.

Good going. :)

I love this poem! its got good rhythm and its a nice little tale that switches the perspective round from the norm. Good job!

I thought the poem was really clever. I enjoyed it thoroughly though I was a bit confused at the line "How could they stare so tactlessly

at one who has no feet?" I guess I didn't really get why the fact that the umbrella has no feet had any bearing on anything so if makes the rhyme sound a bit forced.
