The puzzle piece thing is a bit cliche, but I liked how you did it. Saying no one has all the pieces is an interesting take on it which I haven't read before.

I also loved the line "We're mutes to one another" That was a great description and really described how people cana e with each other.

I liked the ending too. "warped reality" was an interesting phrase choice and it worked.
