This is some unique imagery you have going on: while I have read descriptions on certain people being like stickers you can't rip off, I haven't heard them being referred to as 'mutilated sticker corpses' like they are here. I also like that you went into detail on how they cling and why the narrator allows them to return ('Enough remains/To annoy/And allow/The connection to reform'). It helps create a whole, clear picture of the relationship.
