|Reviews for The Song of the Nightingale|
| Poet Lordy 3/30/11 . chapter 1
I read this at lunchtime amongst more than a few men, felt strange somewhat seen as it's a Romantic story, of which I wouldn’t normally read, I am a MAN after all, we don’t do that ;-). Having said that, it had more than a fair share of warmth about it. I'm not quite used to reviewing stories, but it left me the feeling of wanting to know how things progressed. Oh, I know he was able to win her heart back, (wasn’t he) probably never losing it in the first place, but I'd still like to know.
The make up of the story had me making pictures in my mind, so something was stirring my thoughts. This young man almost felt older than he was by his mannerisms, whether this is my interpretation or not I'm not sure. There were small parts where I felt I had to piece it together in my own mind, but as a whole I found it rewarding to read and a pleasant change to my usual lunchtime experience.
