Very compelling and powerfully written, I commend you, oh, awesome writer! This is the perfect example of what a poem should be; written with metaphorical grace and beautiful ambiguity. The dual meaning of the poem isn't revealed until the end, but throughout the lines, you hint subtly at the horrifying truth. Wonderfully done. I shall return to read more of your pieces.
