Great story so far, it's got me intrigued. And your problem with the pronouns, I don't think it's as bad as you think it is. By the way, I have the same problem with my writing, lol. I think it's one of the reasons it takes me so long to write these days, I spend a lot of time on individual sentences these days trying not to start it the same way I started the last 2 or 3 sentences. It is quite difficult sometimes. My advice is not to worry with it so much. Speaking from experience, I think it takes up more time than it's worth. ...Now if only I could follow my own advice...

I love it! It's hard to find really good stories about aliens, but this one looks very promising. I can't wait for the next update. Keep it up!
