Ernest Bloom 5/7/11 . chapter 1if writers fail to use less familiar words, they can never find their proper way into the language, so always have a little dab there on your pallet. i applaud their use; i do it all the time myself; feel we have that obligation; i even freely coin words that we lack when clearly there is a need. i like the strength of the tale you tell here, but think the "big words" as they say assault the palate like way too much oregano in spaghetti sauce. spice it up good, but sometimes a little bit less is more. |
