Whoa, nice! I once wrote a poem of the sort from the spider's POV..

I wrote my poem called "Death in the Arms of No One" about a ground hog that was lying dead in the path that I was hiking on behind my residence building. I thought, at first, that it was a diranged thing to write a poem about, and I even hid it from people for a while, but I realized that it doesn't matter where the inspiration comes from. Plus, death in all it's forms is a very inspiring aspect of life.

As for the poem, it's pretty good, despite your doubts. I like the suggestion of redemption at the end, which makes the whole thing a window into something other than the spider (most likely ourselves, as it was for me).

There I go, writting yet another long review! Okay, the next review will be short I promise!
