Ooh, rabid werewolf? Zombie? Infectious disease victim? The suspense is building! I hope Dimitri is alright - I'm guessing he passed out? It's kinda sad how that's a regular occurance for him. He sounds like he could use some hobbies. Poor guy.

I love how you named the city 'Central.' It sounds like a comic-book place, you know? I'm kinda waiting for Batman to go swooping past Calvin's window and for him to be all, 'oh, there he goes again.' Or maybe it's like a place out of Resident Evil. Could there be undercurrents of a conspiracy!

I already like where this is going! Your premise is really interesting - what the heck happened to those campers? I have a feeling that we're going to find out, and I can't wait. It's also really nice to see someone who is literate without being SO literate that they have to describe every single detail about every little thing - it really irks me when writers decide to draw your attention to the color of the carpet even though it has literally nothing to do with anything.
