Well I thought that was really lovely.

I'm new, but there seems to be a predominance of sort of pointless, almost juvenile poetry on this website.

But yours was, for a start, grammatically correct. Which is always a plus.

And I also thought that the lines: You were afraid of death; but also afraid of the terror life gives, was very clever and paradoxical.
