This is fun! I like the idea as a whole, and I like the idea of this one in particular!

I like the opening lines of this because I think it sets the scene of the piece really well. I also like the way you executed the poem as a whole; by the end of it I feel like I got a solid feel for these two nameless, stubborn soles refusing to give in. It's probably a situation everyone can remember being in (or seeing) at some point in their life.

Haha, I like the subject matter of this 'cause it makes me snicker. I also feel like I can relate to it since it's so true to life. I feel like a lot of people have probably felt this way so it's neat to see it painted out in poetry format.

I like the tone to this piece. It feels very uplifting and hopeful. I also like the imagery that comes with it because the picture sticks in my mind, gradual, warm and all encompassing.

I love the picture painted by the opening line - I've always found the concept of a phoenix entrancing and I think you do a good job bringing that image to mind. I also really like the wording of the second line; it has an epic, romantic ring to it. The only thing I'm not terribly fond of is the last line - the rhyming in it in particular. It feels a bit cheesy to me.

Heh, I kind of like the first "non-sensical" line (though I assume it's meant to be hummed to the McDonald's jingle). I think it's original to open that way and gives a kind of neat ring to the piece. I also like the message because I feel like I used to feel like that a hundred times a day back in highschool. Ah, nostalgia. :)

Ahaha, I love this one because I can *totally* relate to it. I also think it's quite humorous; it brings up memories of me being so furious at something and being intensely frustrated that I would never be able to make that thing suffer back because it was an object. ._. Needless to say, I smiled as I read it.

Ouch - I think you got your tone across well in this one. Betrayal certainly hurts. :( It makes me feel sorry for your sister. I also think the image it gives off is powerful; I could picture a young girl curled up on her bed, struggling with how to deal with things. Poor thing.
