I can relate to this, even though I haven't been to a therapist. It seems like whenever I go to people with my problems, they give me cliche advice. It's kind of a been-there-done-that-nice-try-what-else-you-got kind of thing. If that makes sense.

Anyway, you're an excellent writer. I don't know how else to say it except that now that I've read your poetry I feel like staying up all night and writing until my hand hurts.

Perhaps the truth is in the cliches; we have to help ourselves.

For a second, I thought it said "the rapist," but the same sentiment comes across here: Dignity being raped and not being treated as an individual. Thank you for the pure emotion in your work.
