I liked the piece. I think you describe a lot of different things you might see in one part of a city. It's great because you describe each one so well (I especially love the sorority girl part), but they are so different from each other. I like how it goes from this broad portrait of all sorts of people to this person in specific though I wish there was more of a transition there. I think something to connect the man to the scene you just described in between those to stanzas might help connect it a bit more.
