cab fed hig 6/23/11 . chapter 1"Fist of fury at the fortitude of the shy pinky that it dare not bend without its partner the ring finger, smug in its decoration and control." - ahh, love the repetition of body parts and your brilliant personification. i like the idea of an arrogant and bossy ring finger. wonderful. "Dig a hole, deal a blow, destruct in righteous rage. The finger will not bow." - this poem is so intense. this is the most intricate thing i've read that pays so much attention to diction and violent verb usage. your wordplay is very powerful in this |
skersey 6/23/11 . chapter 1I love the alliteration: "damned dirty demagogue with his dominion" it gives the poem an extra accent of rhythm. "Fists of fury at the fortitude of the shy pinky" is also a cool image. half-decent? This is a SUPER decent poem for having writer's block! Especially since it's about hands! Nice job |
