ehehehehehe i get what you're trying to say. this is very nice and simple and kind of sweet in that sad-ish way.

i clicked this expecting to read about the hay-like straw, though. lol oh me.

it made sense to me :) i liked the concept, thought the second to last stanza stood out. overall, its sweet, almost innocent in a way because ur talking about a straw but then dark emotions as well. nice job. the last stanza seemed a bit off to me only because the stanza before it was so solid and it attempted to continue a thought when i felt a period instead of the dot dot dot then "...if it happens for a" but that's just how i read it so. :)

Umm.. yes. This poem does make sense. I really like the metaphorical meaning of this poem, although I think you contradict what you say in the 3rd paragraph within the 4th paragraph. Maybe that adds to the whole meaning of the poem? Anyways, I really liked it. And do keep writing!
