By your author's note at the top, it sounds like this is all a personal experience and i, for one, know how hard it is to show these things to the outside. so first thing i wanted to say was i admire your courage.

second (if this is a personal experience then disregard this part), i love the way you put the narrator's feelings into it and how it doesnt really seem like it's going to end like a request to die but it slowly starts to turn around and i find that really hard to write so good job.

i also love the way you incorporate the little habits and the personality of the other boy into it because it lets the reader have a peek at the one we never would have met.

beyond that i don't have anything to say other then if this happened, then for what its worth, i'm sorry for your loss
