Hades and Persephone have always been a habit of mine, and I'm not quite sure why. this is beautifully written, and some of the chapters? poems? pieces? just ... astound me. I especially like six. it's short and wonderfully meaningful, and you could've spun it out into something much longer, but I'm so glad you didn't. The only thing I didn't quite like, was the little bits and pieces of yourself - that comes off really horrible, i know, but I think, if you're telling their story, it's just sort of excessive when the narrator dips her toes in, unless you're going to make a thing out of it, and you kind of just leave us hanging. You give us only a very small piece of you, and I would love to see more. That's all. In any case, I also quite like your definition of Persephone as a halfling, not really happy wherever she is - but still drawn to hades, even though she craves the sunlight. Yes.
