Erin and Tyler sound hilarious! I like how you started this chapter with the ending of an era in the way you did, was a good beginning point. I really liked this! It's not often that you come across a humorous, well written romance novel! Onto the next chapter :)

Haha! My goodness, Evan is so funny! Even the way he was checking Charley out, it was ADORABLE! I love how he's so straightforward about it! :D Hehe, so maybe my perspective changed a bit, therefore I am rooting for Macon more than I did when I first read the story, but my bias for Evan still hasn't changed :P I really adore his character. He can be a comedian, a sweet brother, a great friend, etc. I truly hope that love will come knocking on his door sometimes soon. :)

But really, what's with Zeke and his unresponsive ways towards Charley? I am very glad she finally gave up on him, because it was sad to see her treated like that (Macon was right, she doesn't deserve to be treated like that at all). I grimaced every time Charley pretended to be someone she is not just to "impress" Zeke, when in the end she only gets ignored by him. And if he's at the party just to write his lyrics, what's the point in going? I actually wonder how Macon actually got him to go in the first place! And what actually happened in the car ride... That must have been a "fun" one for Macon :/ But kudos to the guy doing all that and for tolerating all that just for Charley's sake. She's a lucky girl :) But for once in her life, she deserves someone who appreciate her the way Macon does. I think she had her fair share of jerks who doesn't treat her like the way she deserves *thinking of all her bad break-ups*

Even though I don't like Zeke, I really do like what you did with scene where Zeke expresses how he dislike Greek mythology, while Macon was the one bragging about Charley's interest in it. It really shows the contrast between the two guys, if it wasn't already blaring obvious that Macon was the better choice for Charley. Zeke and Charley clearly DOES NOT have anything in common. Anything Zeke takes and interest in or is passionate about, Charley has to PRETEND to like. Whereas anything Charley is passionate about, Zeke disrespects it - as if she wasn't insecure about her own personal interest already. On the other hand, Macon actually takes pride in Charley's interest, even when Charley is too embarrassed about it to admit it.

And that whole scene between Macon and Charley where he was telling her how beautiful and gorgeous she is - well, I don't know about Charley, but I personally was feeling butterflies in my own tummy and all fuzzy. THAT IS SOOOOOO SWEET AND HEART-MELTING. What a guy, he really is. Okay, here is a guy who indirectly confesses to her his feelings and emphasizes clearly to her how amazing, gorgeous she is to him, how is it possible that she is not swept off of her feet? I personally think Charley already fell for him, but she is still too much in denial to admit it personally to herself.

I like how you finished off the chapter with "Trusting him with my heart was dangerous territory." Maybe she actually does realize that she is stepping on a very thin line right now. And maybe she is trying really hard to hold herself back from liking him, because she's only afraid? I have a theory that because she has been heartbroken so many times in the past, she is very hesitant when it comes to love. Maybe that is why all this this time she chose to be with guys that aren't really worth her love, because it is a lot safer to not let someone else into her heart. After all, falling in love is a very vulnerable thing. And it really does take time to trust someone to hand him the key to her heart. :)

And I am very happy that Charley actually didn't end up saying "You're the first guy who's ever looked at me—all of me—and thought me beautiful. You're the first guy who's ever made me feel good about my ability" to him. I do feel bad for Macon, because he deserves more than that from her, but at the same time, having her not say that seems more appropriate for her character. Not only that, it adds suspense to the story. Hehehe, now I get to wait to see how Macon earns enough of her trust to be hearing something sincere and real like that. When that happens, I feel that those words will be much more meaningful :) I feel like even though Charley has been through quite a few relationships, she never truly gave the guys sincere true feelings...and the words she says to them are very empty. I feel like Macon deserve sincerity from her... and I suppose that can only comes when her heart is ready too.

Thank-you so much for all of these wonderful updates! I really miss your writings tons! I am anticipating for the chapters!

Hmm... Get along with Macon's sister, love his mom's cooking, and find his house a comfortable place to be herself in, PLUS a very sweet guy who would be willing to invite HER "crush" so that she can have a good time there, when he likes her so much himself? I surely hope that Charley will eventually open her eyes to see what's right in front of her before it's too late!

I love how Charley can get Macon to really laugh wholeheartedly when she's just being herself. And I love how Macon would spare sometimes to research onto things that Charley is interested in...even something like that phrase "Go to Tartarus." So he's been interested in her since the first time they ran into each other, yeah?

And I can't believe that he would be willing to invite Zeke! Okay...maybe, I can since Macon is such a sweetheart and it's just within his character to go out of his comfort zone to make Charley happy. I felt so bad for him, because Charley just seems so oblivious to how hurt he can be on the inside just by suggesting that he should invite Zeke. He was really hurt, wasn't he? He seemed so confused and frustrated when she suggested that idea. Still, what he did was very touching. I doubt that there are many people out there that are like him.

Haha, Charley's mom is so funny. Charley's relationship with her mom is very different from what I normally see between mothers and daughters, but in its own way, it's very sweet. Thank-you for ending this chapter in a happy note for Charley's family. I like how Charley and her mother can easily forgive each other. Charley can really encourage her mother to toughen up. Haha, it's funny, but I think Charley seems more like the mother, than the daughter. I like their relationship still though :) I am very curious about Charley's mom's relationship with her boss. Hehehe... what's going on between them? It's kind of cute
GP.pupluv 12/18/12 . chapter 19
Awww... :3 Macon's words were the first thing that came up in Charley's mind when she woke up in the morning? Even though that thought doesn't carry a positive connotation in Charley's mind, I think it's a big step for Macon, because he is starting to be a very significant person in Charley's life, for his words to carry such an impact on her. I think unknowingly, she is opening her heart up to him.

But what a guy he really is :) Helping her achieve her dream. It's amazing. I am very glad that she took the initiative to ask him - well, he did ended up asking her instead, but she did try - to meet his sister. After all he did for her, that's the least she could do to make the guy's day. She should just accept him as a friend already. Even if she's still in her anti-jock phase, being a friend is still a separate category from lovers isn't it? So technically, being his friend doesn't hurt? :) Haha. But it is very cute how a simple thank-you from Charley is sufficient to lift Macon's face up completely. My heart goes gaga at the thought. Hehehe.

"I watched his shoulders shake slightly as if he heard what I had said about Brendan in my mind. Or, realistically, he saw that I was the only one in the stands who wasn't standing up to cheer. Either way, he was laughing pretty hard."

In reference to that scene, if the first statement is true, then Macon truly have been able to understand Charley well enough to know what's going on in her head. And I really like that because I think that for a relationship to have depth, it requires mutual understanding. And even if Charley hasn't truly understand Macon yet, for him to understand her means that they are halfway there. Either way, I also enjoy that moment very much because it shows that Macon was paying attentive attention to Charley during his game ;P Haha, why else would he be looking at her, laughing, and even sending her a shrug? Hehe. SOOOO CUTE!

On another note, Charley have really good friends. Of course the friendship between Charley and Erin is something irreplaceable, but Dana is a great friend to Charley as well :) I am glad that although certain areas of her life isn't working out very well right now, she has good friends to support her (and Macon, once she realizes what a treasure he really is ;)).

Hahahaha, Charley's mom is really funny, especially when it comes to her boss. So...Charley's mom really have a thing going on with her boss? I wonder how things are going to unravel. I really feel bad for Charley. So much responsibility and burden to take care of at such a young age. You know, when I was reading ADILAS, I never thought that Charley has such a rough life at home. But seeing that now, it makes me really admire her character to still pull off such a happy and carefree exterior when she's not at home. I hope to read more about Charley's family, because there's always more to a character that comes from their back story. :)

Thank-you for writing!
