The imagery this makes in my head is gorgeous. Simply awe-inspiring. I love it. You've clearly conveyed the idea that someone can be completely different when away from people. I know that I can be an entirely different person when I'm with friends, enemies, family, or even when I'm alone, and in my opinion, it's quite hard to write about something like that this well. Well done :)
