good story u realy should continue it but does not flow well in certian parts
Nick Griffalco 1/12/12 . chapter 6
So I was right about Hela's dad being Hades/Pluto (though personally her name strikes me as more Norse than Greek/Roman); though shouldn't that mean Demeter should have been Demeter/Ceres rather than just Demeter, and the Medicean cubes strike me more as something Apollo would have made since he was the god of healing (amount other things) or Asclepius. Well they were only minor points, and I'm loving how much I'm learning about lesser known mythologies. Can't wait for more!
Nick Griffalco 11/17/11 . chapter 5
Ooh, Russian demons and Indian demons not long after that. Well the crossover of the mythologies is definatly starting to become apparent and I'm loving it. So that person at the end...I'm guessing it was a child of either Hades or Pluto, but if thats the case then it should have been Tartarus, not Hell. Anyway, it's coming along great, and I can't wait for more.

Close.eyesOpen.mind 11/7/11 . chapter 1
I didn't really get a sense of anything really. I think you should actually 'write' something before adding a weird authors note. Yes, I think you should keep writing about this, and actually teach me something :)
YoungestAuthorEver 11/6/11 . chapter 4
Wow, this is a really interesting story, lol
The Red Raven 11/3/11 . chapter 3
Coincidentally,I sometimes get on Godchecker,it's pretty ,what's up with the whole,"HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE GODS AND GODDESSES! YOU'RE FRIENDS ARE IDIOTS!" thing?Sigh, extremist now in days.
The Red Raven 11/3/11 . chapter 2
This is an interesting story,it makes me want to read more and more.

So Zealnd's dad is a Norse god eh? Well if he's a trickster and his dad's name starts with an L I'm going to guess it's Loki, since he was the trickster of the Norse gods. Well in brief, the difference between Indian Mythology and Hindu Mythology is that Indian Mythology includes Hindu, Buddhist, and Jainist myths; but Hindu Mythology is just the Hindu myths, so Kali is both Indian and Hindu.

So who could Kala's godly parent be? Well her eyes turn red so maybe Kali, but Shiva could work equally well. It's coming along great and I can't wait for more! )
Nick Griffalco 9/13/11 . chapter 2
Thanks for the shout out! Well I think it's off to a great start! Hmm...there's something Chandra that makes me think she might be Kali (the goddess, not the demon), or at least an avatar of Kali, and there's something about Jeremy that makes me think he's a demon (or maybe he's just that much of a jerk, it could goes both ways). You know most of the stories you see about demigods are about Greek ones, so you story is really a breath of fresh air to see a story about Hindu/Indian ones (not that I don't like those kinds of stories, as you can see by my favorited stories).

Just a thought, but if your story involves Indian mythology is it just Hindu myths, or will you incorporate Buddhist and Jainist myths into the story as well? I also like how even though it's about Indian mythology the characters aren't necessarily Indian (well there names didn't strike me as particularly Indian, and it was stated that they're American, though I suspect Zealand might be from New Zealand).

Well all in all I think it's off to a great start, and I can't wait for more! )

Hi. I'm a Hindu and a Pure Indian who's completely nuts about Hindu mythology. In other words, I love my religion! So I'm really excited to find one Hindu story on this site. I don't know where it goes from here, but I assure you I'll follow up on this story and give you feedback.

A word of advice- don't confuse Indian myth with Hindu myth.

Also- You probably can't do anything about this now, but I have to say that this chapter didn't feel like an authentic Hindu mythology. From the way the events unfolded, to the location, and your writing style (it's good, actually) this story didn't have that flavour. I'd have been expecting Greek gods or at least the Apostles or something. Not Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu or Lord Brahma. You're sure this story isn't a rip-off of Percy Jackson? You had American names who confront Hindu gods? Not exactly appealing to even diehard Hindu fans. Anyways, please work on this.

I look forward to reading this story!

Ooo! I really want to hear more of this! Sounds INTRESTING! update please ;)
Nick Griffalco 8/29/11 . chapter 1
I think this is a great idea for a story. Highlighting lesser known mythologies and having a story that mixes them is really great. I say go ahead!
Aaron'sInAMineField 8/29/11 . chapter 1
