hummmingbird 5/31/12 . chapter 1I like this first chapter. you described the view from, the car windows very well, by comparing it with a fairytale book. I also like the black bird, its really creepy! |
Nick Griffalco 1/12/12 . chapter 4Hmm...the dream made me think of Ragnorok, and further strengthens me hypothesis that they're all reincarnations of characters from Norse mythology. If my hypothesis is right then I'm guessing that the girl Theo met is Sif. Just a thought but shouldn't the club have been religious studies club or world religions club rather than theology, since religious studies is from a neutral perspective but theology is from the "this actually happened" perspective, like the Christian kids were making it. Well it gave us a chance to get to know the characters better, so I liked it, can't wait for more! |
Nick Griffalco 10/31/11 . chapter 3Luke Eldr, as in the Elder Edda perhapes? ;) So Theo and Luke dodge the bullit, and there's that mysterious Mr. Wendesday again, well it may have been short, but I can't wait for more ) |
DeathlyIdiot 10/25/11 . chapter 3Can't wait for the next chapter. :D |
Nick Griffalco 10/1/11 . chapter 2Another great chapter! And there was that raven again at the end. Hmm...this is a bit of guessing on my part, but for some reason I'm thinking the students are all going to be reincarnations of the Norse gods; Michael seems like he'd be Heimdall because of his hall monitor duties and sternness, the kid with red hair seems like he'd be Loki (though it could just as easily be Theo, given your love of Loki and the fact that Theo's the main character), and Theo might possibly be Thor. You know, based off of what little I know about House of Anubis this story kind of reminds me of it, but with a Norse twist, and it only makes me like it more ) Well all in all it's coming along great, and I can't wait for more! ) |
Nick Griffalco 9/21/11 . chapter 1Trying your hand at Norse Mythology I see ;) Oh Theo, having moved into college about a month ago I can feel for you and your problems. Hmm, I bet Mr. Wednesday is going to turn out to be Odin (it would make sense b/c Wednesday is named after Odin's Anglo-Saxon equivalent Woden). And that raven, I bet it's one Odin's ravens (either Huginn or Muninn). Well all in all I think it's off to a great start, and I can't wait for more ) |
