This line (and everything after it) made me cry, you should definitely continue :))))

Such a determination in the last line! It really builds up Devi's personality. This was a very dramatic start to a story and a lot of death - it really got the reader involved in the tale. Great stuff!

A little rushed, but it seems good so far as for plot line. I think you should slow down a little, it all came so fast. No complaints other then that :).
