Woohoo. Firstly I would like to congratulate you on a job well done! Anamika sounds fascinating as a character and I especially liked how you managed to get information about her across in a subtle way, weaving it into the story instead of info dumping on me, the reader. So thanks! :)

Paragraph 4 was sliiightly info-dumpish though. The part about her family seems rather abrupt and what is the relevance in this part of the story? I'm sure you could have given us that information in a later chapter in a different scene.

Paragraph 9 was excellent. Beautiful and sad.
