I think this has the potential to be a really strong piece, but the passion that one normally gives their so-called obsession doesn't come through with your choice of words. I like the onomatopoeia, and the repetition as though the poem is being written whilst the author is knitting, but I think that there's a little room for improvement on the lines in-between.
