I'd have to agree with heartofmywords. It has alot of appeal to it and I've gotta ask the same question, is there more to this?

Wow. That's all I can say. The picture this story paints is achingly tragic - and yet almost loving. In only a few words, you have created a image of what this might be, leaving just enough mystery to keep a reader wondering and pondering the meaning...

Is there more to this? Because I would definitely like to see more.

It's a decent start. You can do better with less adjectives and more imagery, although I myself am a victim of that sometimes.
