Your writing is very beautiful as well, and the flow is great. I like your word choices and this just felt so dark and wonderful in so many ways. I could feel the pull and tug between wanting somebody.. and yet recognizing their toxicity..

I adore this. There's so much raw passion in it, and the links you made between flammability and misery were amazing. My favourite lines were this:

strike a match to purge."
