Wow. That was absolutely amazing even if the ending was sad and bitter. I swear reading this I just wanted to reach into the pages and punch Evangeline in the throat repeatedly. Great story.

Okay... The moms self doubt and guilt from suspicions comes across very well. She acknowledges all the alternate explanations for whatever is bugging her. Very nice start...

It's too awful to be in her situation. To have a daughter that does not love you one bit and abuses her sibling.

This is a great story! Too bad that I am already reading the last chapter available :(
