"means less then meaning"... than

"as I write it on the page, in a closed book,"... I'm thinking you used closed book to mean like your relationship was over? But it seemed weird to because how can you be writing on a page in a closed book?

I did like the piece though. The second line was great. I like how you say it was a surprise. That adds to the narrator's character for me. The last line is great too. Definitely something I think anyone who writes poetry or stories can relate too.

Short but powerful. I loved the image of the snake coiling around the T and the poem being pulled into dark oblivion. Beautiful poem.
