From what I have heard from some of my friends before reading this story, at the time I didn't know this story existed. One of the major factors in a magical girl genre is those slice of life and back story moments. In future chapters, might I suggest flushing out some of the main characters' back stories? You don't have to right now, it's just a suggestion. I'm going to be following this story because it has caught my interest greatly.

First off, I like that you are having a magical girl esque feel to the story.
The science fiction elements were cool as well. I have become curious to see what will happen next. How you ended the chapter, it filled me with suspense.
