Reviews for No Other Love
SunsetxStories 11/2/11 . chapter 1
"No matter how many times we say 'I love you', it still means nothing when you don't even show it."

I love how you showed your love for your parents in this poem. Remember one time in class, Ms. Lagat mentioned something about High School being the period wherein you usually fight with your parents? Well, for me, that will be avoidable for a person who can see through the rough exteriors of people.

You know, because of this poem, I actually feel regret. I mean, I've said "I love you" to my parents for more than a hundred times, but even if I really mean it, it doesn't reach out to them. I'm very regretful of the fact that I say things about my parents. :C

I really dislike seeing them mad at me, but I guess they know what's right for me:

It may seem tedious

To weave one's thoughts

So I took my time to think

Over the lessons you've taught.

I loved that part. Even though it hurts to get screamed at for doing something wrong, there is always something good to get out of it. I love your poem very much.

Really hope to grow up seeing you as a renowned writer! Oh, and...just want to let you know that every time I read your works, I feel kind of at peace. I guess it's in the heart of your words that make me feel that way. :) 3
