They follow us,

Mimicing our movement,

Hidden in the darkness,

Shown in the light.

They movenot when they please,

But when they are needed to,

They blend together,

Forming something so terrifying,

People are afraid.

Darkness.

Shadows are always scarier than the actual thing, keep writing :)

This was interesting. I like how you compared the shadows to people, and still discussed the shadow's ghost-like nature, and its hiding in the dark, and especially when you said 'mere images that can't breathe'. Satire?
