Anyway. This is totes fascinating. I know I've said that before, probably every other chapter, but it really is. It's so easy to slip into the story in Theta's voice, and everything seems so...accessible? That's not quite the right word, but it's as close as I can get. It doesn't feel dry and centuries old; hell, it's fresh and interesting enough to have been something completely from your own heads. (Which sounds kind of snarky, but you know what I mean. Like, these are your own stories, but they have the basis in someone else's. But it reads like it could be completely made up by you, every little bit.)

Also. Theta's line about being in love. That made me d'awww and pout at my screen. And him hiding in the bush and getting annoyed was so cute. XD

I don't really get why Zipporah was just like, "Oh, hey, god's gonna kill my husband. ...TIME TO SACRIFICE MY CHILD'S FORESKIN." It's so bizarre. XD

Aaron and Moses are rather adorable as well.

Can I just say that I love this chapter? Because I love it. Knowing the past between the two and seeing the chemistry again and everything is just...ahh. :D I love it.

Aww, Theta sounds so melancholy and tired during this whole thing... Sorrowful exhaustion, that's what I'll call it. The sorrowful exhaustion of an immortal being charged with taking care of an increasingly awful universe and in turn becoming increasingly cynical about the tedium of taking care of "lesser" beings.

Ahem. But I digress. For a sec, I thought I'd missed something about Joseph, but then I realized that I hadn't and was just being silly. XD The whole bit about slavery and Theta's feelings about it was great.

I can't say it enough, though you probably disagree and think I've said it too much, but I absolutely love Theta's tone. Miserable tedium and sorrowful exhaustion and the pain of one who lives much, much longer than they might like; it was bleeding out through this chapter.

Ohgod, I'm on a rambling kick. I'll just stop myself here and say I'm sorry about the soccer thing, chicas, but please don't cry! D: Channel your sadness and turn it into writing fuel! :D

I don't really have much to say for this one; I got mildly distracted by the tone because I love it so much. It's so easy to just slip into this story and really feel like it's being told to you. It's great.

I'm starting to see Theta's point of view. I'm starting feel that with each chapter, he's becoming more and more human.I like it.

I must say, I totally adore these little interludes with Theta and Will. They really tie everything together and ground it all.
