I am dying to read more! My stomach lurched at the vision you painted of the car accident with Cale's mom and little brother. The voice that he recognizes on the JS show, but can't place it, is fantastic. It plants the seed of, "could this be his brother? Did he really die?" Just the not knowing makes me want to read on! The birth of this story that you have created thus far is clearly on the right path to something quite fantastic. You almost could carry it in a few directions. Plus i loved that he is compassionate - the relationship he has with his dad with a little parent child role reversal is endearing. The promise of a love interst tied with the possibility of some "other worldly" happenings, makes for an interesting journey for a reader. Seriously would love to read more!
