A little piece of my heart just broke. This is still a great story though and so well-written and still so believable. It would really be great to read what happens to Mark and Sandy. I will definitely follow this story. (:

I read the reviews first. saw mark amd sandy broke up, sat silently in rage. Then i got a little bit of hope in me thinking "maybe this isnt done". When i saw the last time the story was updated was 2000 freaking 11 i almost yelled. Then i went to your profile and saw your explaination, and i hope things are going better for you. im glad this isnt over though. i would have seriously been pissed to know i devoted all my time to a story for an ending like that. i know its more 'realistic
but youve wrote tons of chapters and we've fallen in love with the characters and the couple. it wouldnr be fair to just throw us readers a curveball

I just thought I'd review this story again after seeing your warning at the top of your page - at first I was worried, thinking omg, why would we be so angry at her? Then I realized you were just referring to this story. I love this series and the characters, and honestly, this update is one of my favourites, if not my favourite, in the whole 'Underlying' series. I really liked, and thought it was really well done. I thought it was sweet (with bittersweet elements too of course) and a satisfying read.
My take on this phase of the story is that they had already been together for a couple(?) years before they broke up, that they are together in this story, and that there seems to be a good chance that they will get back together at some point soon, so I don't think this is any reason to be so depressed or sad about it : ). (Maybe I have a different perspective since I've been reading it since the beginning, I dunno.) Anyway, I just wanted to say I hope you don't feel bad about posting this, and that we are not all angry at you for it. Hope you are having a very Happy Holidays!

Wow. Wasn't that just a kick in the teeth? I mean... whoa. I just finished reading the main piece and all the side pieces (took me about a week), because I wanted to have a whole picture when I did finally review and now... I'm just terribly heartbroken because altogether, it was like... like a tragedy. Don't get me wrong, I understand that very little in life is the 'Happily Ever After' ending we all wish for. But... *shrugs* I dunno, there is something extremely poignant and painful about this one. Perhaps it is mostly because they [literally] fought through so much to get together and here, clearly, neither one of them WANTS to be apart, but that life getting in the way. So sad.

Regardless, the story and the characters are endearing and engaging. It's rare that I find a piece where a character that starts out like Mark is the one that I end up identifying with so clearly, not because we're similar, but because I understand the urge to just... throw the middle finger up at life and everything out there that messes everything up. Of course a relationship that starts out like Mark and Rogers’s isn’t one I’d normally buy, but *laughs* I did think that your portrayal of their relationship turning from seething hatred to passionate 'whatever' was well done. I really enjoyed the high-school fluff... especially the movie date. *laughs* If I was nicer I'd be telling you this on all of them instead of just one. But I'm not. So you get one long review. ;)

Mark and sandy are sierously my favorite couple ever! I am in love with all the stories about them, I must have read each one about 30 times each! Really can't wait to see how it turns out for them :) xx

Anyway. Good story. I love these two. I want to read more about them. I think I'll go back and read some happier moments before I go to sleep. Cause as stated, this last one just made me sad.

I am usually extremely lazy with writing reviews, but your story just did it for me. I have been looking for a romance between enemies like this one for ages and I have finally found one that satisfied and even exceeded my expectations. You, madam, are awesome. The characters are well-built and the interactions between them realistic and natural.

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE continue with Mark and Sandy's story, because the note with which you ended this last part of their romance is a bit frustrating, although bittersweet. I would love to see them eventually ending up living their lives together.
