Who Says You Cant Write 1/12/13 . chapter 1This story is honestly amazing, i think this is the third time i've read this. And thats just this month! Haha, i'm honestly in love with the characters, especially Gladys and Max. I was collapsing in laughter during the bit where she's on the roof and he's in the bathroom. And the start is very good, normally i hate it when a story starts with it's like ending kind of but i love this one. Alot(: |
alexisrenee 9/25/12 . chapter 2AHHHHHHHH! So cute! Seriously. I'm going on a gigantic reading spree through ALL of your books! I love your writing style! |
InspiredVisionary 7/9/12 . chapter 2This was a cute and interesting read. So, are there any chances you'll post a sequel anytime soon? |
Ray-Anne 6/22/12 . chapter 2I think having notifications would be less troublesome than keeping up with that long session. Either way though I it was a clever and interesting story, had to keep your head while reading it as it switched povs without a break and time jumped a lot. Good writing though, be happy |
reireitan 6/3/12 . chapter 1you need to do a sequel! haah 3 |
Neophrite 5/10/12 . chapter 2 Awesome. Yet again a story I "couldn't put down, " if that were possible online. Loved the original plot and the fast -paced action. The characters were fun and I liked that it wasn't just Gladys with the awkward moments. I would have liked to know a little more about some of the other characters, though, maybe seen some more background from Max. And it would be really cool to know more about finding the tomb in the first place - maybe a short supplemental? At any rate, once again I was fully engrossed and can't wait to read more! |
HarunoMarina 5/6/12 . chapter 2 holy moly that was awesome! I loved the plot, and the characters, and the whole thing in general. Good job! |
Lyane thanys2wanadoo.fr 5/4/12 . chapter 2 Hello, I recently purchased "What is released" on Smashwords and I took the opportunity to take and finish "Gladys the Guard". I wanted to thank you for your texts, I began to read it shortly before you remove them from fictionpress. It was a shock, I was in the middle of reading Gladys . I hope to buy and read more of your texts in the future and I am especially interested in "Trouble and treasure". I hope you will finish it one day. And I saw that you work on a sequel to "Details, details, details". It's great! Again, thank you for your texts and I hope you read you again soon. Lyane PS: I am French and I hope I'm understandable. My syntax of has never been very good in English. |
Joyce 12/28/11 . chapter 24 Haha! That was a great story! Definitely had an original plot! Loved your first chapter and you had me hooked through the rest. I was hoping for a little more Max/Gladys at the end but nevertheless a fun, riveting, action packed tale! |
lola 12/20/11 . chapter 1 Can't tell you how unbelievably excited I was when I saw you and your stories were back online! If I had known they were on amazon I would have bought them! You are amazingly awesome and I love your characters, plot and especially your humor! Thank you for reposting here! |
Our Lady Silence 12/20/11 . chapter 2Hey, found a mistake in chapter one. The sand jackals cannot be killed by normal bullets, only bullets with pieces of their weapons in them. Max, however, kills that one with his gun. Just FYI. |
Our Lady Silence 12/19/11 . chapter 1Thank you for reposting this! I've missed reading it. :) |
Abrasive 12/18/11 . chapter 1Is it odd that I experienced heart palpitations and a slight shortness of breath upon discovering that this story had returned to Fictionpress? I am stoked - seriously! |
jammi 12/13/11 . chapter 2I think this is one of my favourite chapters. I just adore it. We meet Max, hot Scots special ops agent who is just, love him. We get to see Gladys at her worst and her best at the same moment and just, it highlights how socially awkward she is and uncomfortable in her own skin when she's around other people and just, I love her, I really do. We meet her cousin and see her 'powers' come in but in such a way that it can sort of make sense since all she does in her free time is play video games so it's not suspicious. I just, this whole chapter is win. Love it. |
jammi 12/12/11 . chapter 1So I am finally finished this term which means I am allowing myself to finally reread this story. well reread it on fp again since it falls under the heading of one of my comfort reads when I do have the time. So onto the review: [Oh hi there I just wondered into this deserted farmhouse in the middle of a military training ground… yeah I was looking for the bathroom… got a bit lost… no I can't read signs…] Hahaha I find that amusing just because further on in the story there's a scene where she's dripping wet because she didn't read the signs that told her the pier was rotting, hahah. [She didn't have a boyfriend, she didn't have a cool gang of else to do really. She didn't have a boyfriend, she didn't have a cool gang of buddies, she didn't even have a dog.] Love that by the end of the book she has a boyfriend, is on good terms with her cousin and has a dog. It's like once she founde herself everything came together for her. [. Myrtle may as well have told her that Flash Gordan had called and had left the message that he'd be getting around to kicking her arse later that day. ] Hahaha. When she couldn't stand her cousin and lmao at her gran calling her cousin a chump. Love it. |
