I thought that this was going to be about a girl who falls in love with an assassin who was all dangerous, and bad-boy-y and stuff, but it's kind of refreshing that the assassin is the girl. That mixed it up for me.

I like the comparison between food and assassins, but I think you need to flesh it out a bit more for it to be effective. Right now, it's kind of awkward.
