OMG how embarrassing and humiliating, but the Prince does sound like a really nice guy...he certainly sounds concerned about her...

Aww, poor Charity! I liked this chapter, it showed both her ambitious and strong side as well as her vulnerabilities. And Prince Rashid Ali is a very interesting man so far - I hope to see more interactions between him and Charity! They seem to have great chemistry, even if Charity has been sick over him!

ooh so Lady Margaret has a secret son! What else is she hiding from her past? And who is Prince Rashid? will he sweep Charity off her feet? nice chapters!

Oh wow, the Arab billionaire...can't wait to see what kinds of adventures Charity's going to have with him...she does meet the most interesting men, doesn't she? I hope Prince Rashid turns out to be nicer than Lars...

Really happy you updated this one! Charity is always so fun to read about and I'm really looking forward to learning more about Prince Rashid Ali! One of my favourite things about this chapter was when Charity was thinking about going to the fitness centre but just ended up falling asleep and dreaming of it! I thought that captured her character so well!

20th chapter! Wow, I feel like I've followed Charity so far! And what a great chapter it is too - what a twist! I really wasn't expecting that! It's just added a whole new layer that I want to find out about. I think it'll be a great opportunity to bring out another side of Lady Margaret's personality too, as you've done so well in this chapter already! :)

Poor Richard, that must have been quite a shock for him to find out who his biological mother was, and to know that she represented everything his adoptive family was against...I can understand his being angry...personally I love the idea of his insisting that she give all her profits to the poor as long as she's left with enough to live on (it's the extreme leftist in me LOL) but I think he's wrong about demanding that she drag all her skeletons out of the closet for the world to see...

Ah Charity doing what she does best - getting into trouble! lol! Really liked the description of Lady Margaret in this chapter in her militaristic but stylish coat - I think it described her character well too! And the little addition about the government cuts was so true - gave such a real impression of England haha! Hope you had a happy Christmas!

What a fantastic twist! I didn't see that coming! I'd love to see what Charity does about Lars now - and see who they've arrested! I loved that little line about Georgina thinking Charity should write a mystery novel - that would be amazing after all she's been through haha!

I can't believe Violet actually took Lars back after he stole her jewels...I feel sorry for the poor guy who got arrested in his place...great chapter!

Oh I love Georgina's character! She's so fun and fresh and I think she brings out a great side to Charity! I loved getting your message saying they'd be together some more in the story :) Plus I'm really interested to see how it develops now Lars has been caught - I suspect there'll be more along the way!

The mention of oysters made me feel really hungry, I LOVE fried oysters. They are just about my favorite food! LOL

Nice to be reading about Charity again! Sounds like she's going to have a lot on her plate again now! :) I really liked the title of this one too - it summed up the chapter and how she felt about everything very nicely! I would like to find out more about this Charlie as well - Charity deserves somebody nice after all she's been through I think ;)
