|Reviews for April is hungry for another victim|
| YasuRan 12/11/11 . chapter 1
Prosaic and provocative. Beneath the vibrant spring imagery, I sense something darker. If this line is to go by - 'a sound/screamed in regret, a thought/provoking provocative responses,/the grandfathers are on top of their
/daughters,' - spring seems to stir a certain disturbing kind of restlessness within this family, especially amongst the men. The women can do nothing but endure.
I loved the closing line - 'a curse, best not caressed.' It adds that measure of finality to the story, as if there is nothing more to be done about her plight.
