I really enjoyed reading this. I think the last three lines were particularly insightful and powerful. I'm half considering adopting them as a motto for life!

Can I just make a small suggestion? It's nothing to do with your writing style- which is brilliant- but I was taught (admittedly only in my A level English class but I'm sure it all still useful, valid advice!) that you should always try to provide the reader with a brief explanation of the context or purpose of poetry, so that the reader will see the poem from the perspective the writer had intended.

Whilst I love your style- and I imagine that you may not want to compromise the ambiguity of it- perhaps a tiny one-line description might help to give the reader a deeper understanding?

I think there are some really great lines here, but that overall it would benefit from more formatting and perhaps removing the first two lines and staring on the third. I loved the line "I remember the day I was aware" and the line "not when scheming meant failing"
