I really enjoy the images in this poem, especially how you mix the more immediate, physical images with the metaphors that take a bit longer to sink in. It has a really beautiful and memorable effect. I also really like the way you have so much variation in the words and ideas, but they all seem to tie together.

"blinding / your body is a blur / and i am a ghost"

I really like how much these lines say about the relationship between the people.

"but then it's over and you don't remember breaking the surface" - favourite part. I love how the poem comes out like a gasp.

This is one of my favourites of your poems. I love seeing the development of the relationship between the two people, and the combination of intimacy and disconnection. The way you invoke place and movement is very beautiful, especially with how you combine it with such personal, physical imagery.

The last two lines of this poem gave me shivers.

ack, this is one of my favourites of your poems. there's so much going on and yet it all fits together. the honesty and intensity of this piece makes it almost painful to read, but in a good way - the necessary kind of hurt that breaks through apathy and makes you care.

i don't know if this review makes any sense. but this is wonderfully written.

i'm always amazed how much you say in so few words.
