Anyways, this is pretty good so far. How old is Jaylynn suppose to be? Also how did her father died?

Very well written, I only have to say, slow down the pace let the reader be sucked into the story. Dont prove me wrong, I was deffinetly sucked in. You build sorrow for the reader when they find out about her father! Only good writers can do that! Just work on the pace! Good cliff hanger by the way, gotta love'em (and hate'em)! Impatiently waitin for chapter 2!
