I like your description of the 'dead leaves', and the 'short dried grass'. I also like the sensory description, like how 'the leaf crunched".

It was also oddly satisfying to have the girl kill the werewolf.

The ending line, about how she then "laughed as she evaporated into a thousand particles", made me laugh along with her. She's so evil, with her evil laughter, and the rest. She cracks me up...
