Reviews for Take the Pledge Against Flamers
Madame Kiksters 11/14/12 . chapter 1
I heard my friends talk about this term, "Trolls". I searched it and found it's just people who like to agitate others for their own amusement. I've been blessed not to have any in my writing, but on other sites I just say, "Silly trolls!" then smile crazily as I delete their post/comment.

So, having not flamed anyone and with no desire TO flame someone:

I, Legitimate-illiterate, pledge that I will never flame a story or poem on any website ever.
Pearl 5/30/12 . chapter 1
Ah flamers, not very helpful human beings are they? At lest if someone doesn't like a story they can point out what it is they hated. There is a difference between constructive criticism and what these Flamers give.

I am proud to say I have never flamed and I never will. I don't have the right heart to do that. I can't even be rude to people who are rude to me. Am I a sissy or just polite? Those things get put together sometimes, though very different things they are.

I love what you're fighting for and I would take the pledge, but I took a pledge never to take pledges (Working against myself aren't I?).
Meadow Frost 5/29/12 . chapter 1
I have never and I will never Flame someones work. I will give critique when needed, but I'm never rude about it.

Stomp out flamers (Sounds better then stomp out bullying though it is the same thing.)
Valenteen 5/28/12 . chapter 1
You are totally right.
Shauni Cooper 5/10/12 . chapter 1
I NEVER flame. Never have, never will. Its wrong and hurtful. You definitely got your message through and I hope people like this really understand just how hurtful they are being. Well done, keep it up!

As always keep writing!

The Red Eyed Lynx 5/8/12 . chapter 1
you have a relly good point. even though i have never flamed any story on the web here's my pledge:

i, The Red Eyed Lynx, pledge to never flame a story or poem on any online website ever again.

i'm not kidding!
Takano-Isorokyu 4/21/12 . chapter 1
Too many people want to make them selves feel good by making others feel small.

Now, personally, I make reviews, because I would like to see people become better writers...and there are times when I get REAL negative - but only when I am very disappointed, because a writer has taken a "leap over the shark"

but, to paraphrase the old USENET saying (yes, I'm THAT old) I'd rather silently curse the darkness, rather than light up the flame thrower.

But...that's just me.

I only comment when I like something. If I can't find anything good to say at all, then I just STFU and click "Next"
Cat Fanatic 4/5/12 . chapter 1
I take the pledge! Boo yah!
Caliburn 4/5/12 . chapter 1
If only all websites had people that would fight Flamers... But still! You're Goal is a commendable one, to fight off the horrible hooligans who plague the web!
Robert Orville Berkshire 4/2/12 . chapter 1
I feel like you tried to yell at me through the Internet. Frankly, it's offensive.

"Flaming" is in the eye of the beholder, so no, I won't take the pledge, because I offer criticism that is sometimes misunderstood.
Alice Rosezella 4/2/12 . chapter 1
SPEAK THE TRUTH :D Yupp I'll take the pledge but I can't put it on my profile (computer crashed) (on my phone writing this lol) but I still take the pledge :)
