Thank you for sharing your story and especially considering the fact that I have NEVER/NOT ever been the popular one and I was picked on teased etc... although that just made me eventually use psychology. Reading your story honesly makes me want to show you what real love is - it is not like I am an expert at it and it is not like I know everything. I do know that real love is unconditional and it accepts things and it gives people a true sense of warmth. Maybe by you experiencing real love in the form of friendship or what have you then your heart will slowly begin to heal and you will let yourself truly feel. I think that basically your heart already has started to heal because that is how you have energy with the friends that you have. You are not the only one who is drained around certain people as I have experienced that my whole life. There are some that I believe take the energy that you do have because they themselves don't know how to give it.
