This one is just haunting. It doesn't matter how the narrator became bruised and scarred - scar tissue tells its own truths, and reminds us of where we have been, but not, let's hope, of who we now are. Again, just beautiful. Stunningly so.

I like this poem, honestly I do, but I didn't feel it was one of your strongest, but it was done really well, don't get me wrong. Amazing job, but try going a little deeper if you can in this type of poetry writing. (pleaseeeee don't take this criticism the wrong way. I mean it in the nicest way possible, honestly I do.) I usually don't quite enjoy 'tragedy poems' since I try to be all about positivity, but this one includes a certain beauty for me. I especially love the ending. Your words are stunning!
