If I had to name something that, imho, could be improved upon for future writings, I'd say there's very little about the main character in this. It's very action-based, more so than character-based, even though the prompt is very much about how the character feels about a situation. I feel like that could have been expanded on.

But long story short, I liked this litte story and I think you'll write many more good things :)
